Things I find interesting. I'm not a professional critic. This is simply my opinion. :)

WOW! This film deserves an A++. This movie is fantastic. Very entertaining. The whole world should watch this movie, it is a masterpiece. This movie is really well done. Ok I should stop now, but it's really good. This movie is basically a musical (and a love story). They used Beatles songs to tell the story and did a wonderful job. The film tells a story about a guy named Jude who travels to the U.S during the 1960's and finds himself in the middle of the Anti-War movement. This film really brings you back into that time period and you can really feel the sentiment that was felt at the time (but I wouldn't really know). It's REALLY GOOD. The music fits perfectly. Go see it!!
The boys in this movie are very cute by the way ;)
All new episode of Journeyman tonight. Eeek! I'm super excited. Just had to say it :)
Ok but what I wanted to talk about is the screen writers strike that's going on in Hollywood. Though I support them- they deserve a paycheck increase(hey, they create the stuff), I really hope this issue is resolved soon, because if not I will my miss my shows DEARLY. The news were saying that prime time is set up until January but after January? What then? What's going to happen to my JOURNEYMAN, PUSHING DAISIES, GREY'S ANATOMY, Ugly Betty, Dirty.Sexy.Money, & Big Shots?? I worry very much. ;) and not just that but what about the people that will lose their job as a result of this strike? The non writers? Sad, sad situation.
Earlier today I finished reading Life's A Campaign by Chris Matthews and I gotta tell ya, it's a great read, short but great. The book is essentially a how to book on how to succeed in life using strategies politicians use- I know what most of you guys will think. It sounds a little iffy. But it's the same things we use (or at least we try to use) in our everyday lives, the basic principles of human relations. He does a great job of showing you the positive side of politics. Something I think we as a society have learned to forget. This book showcases the importance of loyalty, determination, optimism and even rivalry in your path to succes. It's humorous, witty, and clever. It's a fun read. I loved it!
A+ I hope that you guys have been watching Pushing Daisies if not, then, I recommend you to start. It's (in my opinion) ABC's best new series. The quaint little show that is Pushing Daisies, is a breath of fresh air; it feels like you're being read something out of a fairytale book. Perhaps it's because of the way it's presented? ;) hehe. The actors are great, the writing is great. Check it out.
B (I wish I could give it a higher rating, I really do!)
Ok. Let me be honest NBC's Journeyman is not spectacular but it can be pretty darn good if you give it a shot. This show has A LOT of potential. The series centers around Dan Vasser, a normal man who, for an unknown reason, begins jumping back in time. He soon learns that each series of jumps follows the life of a person whose destiny he seems meant to change. * It stars the phenomenal Kevin McKidd alongside Gretchen Egolf, Moon Bloodgood, Reed Diamond, and Hugh Skillen. These actors are not too shabby with the exception of Moon Bloodgood (no offense Ms. Bloodgood). I haven't really been impressed with her performance. She just doesn't seem all that into it. I may be wrong though. Maybe it's because we, as the audience, haven't had a chance to become emotionally attached to Livia. I don't know. Anyway, watch the show. Give it a shot, hopefully you'll like it. I know I did.
Here's a band whose sound I find quirky and interesting. I can't say I haven't heard it before because I must admit, the first time I heard their music my immediate thought was "Hey they sound like Hot Hot Heat" BUT that doesn't mean they're no good. If you like Hot Hot Heat's indie rock sound, you'll definitely like How I became The Bomb. Take a listen to their album Let Go, it was pretty good.
*Here's an unofficial video made by (I assume) a fan. I thought it was interesting, but the main reason why I posted it on here was so you could listen to their song "Secret Identity".
